Who We Are?

Kerala cultural center Chicago is an independent associat ion registered in Illinois on Aug 21, 2023 . The KCCC works in association with Kerala Associa tion of Chicago as a sister concern from the same geographical boundar ies, we strong ly encourage co-existence where ever possible The ultimate goal of this Association is to promote social awareness, cultural heritage, charitable enthusiasms, educational, and literary abilities, sports activities among the Malaya lees of Chicago area and its suburban cities, a ll over Illinois. The Kerala cultural Center in general protects the interest and wel l-being of the members of the association as and when required, and coordinates such activities with other communities.

Our Sub Units

The Association has Youth Forum, senior’s Forum, Women’s Forum, Malayalee Business Association, to cater to the various needs and interests of the different age groups. Teaching chenda (drum) in different classes, organize annual completions for chenda malsaram for both men and
women.

The Association relentlessly tried to place all efforts to preserve and promote Indian culture, especially Kerala culture, through various festivals and events organized throughout the year to fit in all age groups, Socio- cultural symposium, and Charcha Vedi (Debate Forum).

The main events conducted annually are, July 4 th American independence day Picnic, Onam festival, Kerala Piravi, Christmas and New year Celebration, and coordinates/participates American and Indian Independence Day Parade, Indore/ outdoor sports activities, Cheettukali (Cards game).chess etc.

The Kerala Cultural Center works for the socio-cultural well being and growth of the Malayalee community holding on tight to the traditions of Kerala culture.
